The Schools of California Employee Employer Trust (SCEET) was formed in 1987. The Trust was formed on the belief that employee health care benefits could be effectively managed through cooperative efforts and equal control by labor and management. Through unity of design, purchase, and administration, trust participants have control over quality of care and cost. With labor and management joining forces, the trust has more negotiating power with providers than small, individual districts could ever attain.
